The Beat Goes On

Labor Day dancing at Colt Park closed out the season in 1921. In a few months, tennis rackets, swim suits, and golf clubs would be replaced with curling brooms, ice skates, and sleds. 

And then the summer preparation would begin again...

Labor Day festivities ended with "dancing for all in the afternoon,"

In the coming year we are looking forward to the landscape changes north of Riverside Park, where Riverfront Recapture has recently purchased additional land
