Changes to the landscape
Every now and then, bigger changes would take place. At Goodwin Park, a pond was dug.
In 1938-1939, plans were drawn up to build a restroom (then called a comfort station) at Elizabeth Park. In 2020 the building was converted to a visitor center.
In Bushnell Park, the Park River was diverted through a conduit.
